and the verdict to yesterday’s Best Cherry Pie.  This pie gets a 4.5 stars for ease of preparation.  As for taste you’ll just have to wait because I tossed this little baby in the freezer for our Thanksgiving dinner next week. :)

New Fashioned Pumpkin Pie

It’s another pumpkin pie.  This one has a lame name but it was super easy.  First you’ll need an unbaked pie crust.

Then in a bowl you add your eggs, spices, sugar, evaporated milk, salt and pumpkin. You mix it really well and then pour it into your pie shell.  Yep it’s that easy. 002 003 004

Bake it at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then for other 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.  ENJOY!! (if you like that kind of thing)

The Verdict

This pie gets a 5 stars for ease of preparationUnfortunately it gets a 2 stars for taste.  This pie didn’t have enough spice.  If you like a pumpkin pie that taste exactly like plain pumpkin this is the pie for you.  As it is, it takes a lot of cool whip to eat this pie.
